Synopsis: Pavane for a Dead Hunter

Manato Saeki is a low-ranking cop just scraping by, doing whatever he can to pay for treatment for his terminally ill mother. One rainy night, he receives a mysterious green object from a badly wounded hunter. From the instant he accepts that uncanny thing, his fate begins to twist in a cruel direction. “I never should have… taken it.” A vast secret organization known as Atlas is after the green object. In front of Manato’s eyes, his mother is killed and the one friend who ever stood by him is brutally murdered, yet he can do nothing. Branded with every crime and sentenced to death, he is pushed to the brink of execution. In that desperate moment, when rage and hatred boil his blood, something inside him awakens. Even if his limbs are shattered and his organs rupture, even if his body is torn apart and left in tatters, it relentlessly regenerates—an endless power of self‑healing. He cannot die.
