Synopsis: Phantom Tales of the Night

Unlike typical hotels, Murakumo Inn is shrouded in secrecy as its location remains unknown, and it welcomes both human and non-human lodgers. Its enigmatic proprietor doesn't demand payment for board and lodging but requires guests to divulge their most horrific secrets. Those unwilling to comply will receive a secret to keep instead. Tokihito Sasaki, an average high school student, finds himself transformed into an undead being after meeting the inn's mysterious owner. Fueled by animosity towards the proprietor for turning him into a monster, Sasaki teams up with a sorcerer whose ancestors have long attempted to banish the inn's elusive owner. Defending the inn are its vigilant workers, and the owner himself proves to be no pushover. Only those who manage to uncover his secret will have a chance at defeating him - assuming they live long enough to make the attempt.
