Synopsis: Phoenix

Since ancient times, the story of the Phoenix has remained unchanged in history books, even through the era of space exploration. This mythical creature possesses a blood that grants everlasting life or enlightenment, and oversees the progress of human civilization to ensure the survival of sentient beings in the universe. Despite this, humans are still bound by their habits, experiencing the whole spectrum of emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, and love. Continuously, certain beliefs and motives endure throughout the centuries, disrupting the fragile balance of nature and disrupting established principles. It seems that destiny and its ever-changing factors take on various forms and oftentimes displays an unusual sense of humor... Note: This series was left unfinished due to Tezuka's passing.
