Synopsis: Pixie Pop

Mayu Kousaka, a bright 12-year-old, is excited about starting middle school. However, her happiness is short-lived when she discovers that she has to share her desk with Shinya Amamiya, who had previously spurned her romantic overtures. Devastated and heartbroken, Mayu turns to drinking soda at her mom's cafe to numb her feelings. Even though she wants to move on from Shinya, her emotions overwhelm her, resulting in a teardrop that falls into her soda, instantly transforming it into a magical seven-colored drink. The sudden transformation causes Mayu to meet Pucho, a self-proclaimed fairy who is enraged that someone has consumed her enchanted beverage. Unfortunately for Mayu, the drink has given her the power to transform every time she drinks something. This bizarre development causes her and Pucho endless distress until the latter realizes that Mayu still harbors feelings for Shinya. To create Pucho's seven-colored pixie pop, a human tear and seven-colored drops acquired through love are necessary. So, Mayu sees this as a chance to express her feelings to Shinya. However, with Shinya being difficult and Mayu's unpredictable transformations, their quest to unite will not be a cakewalk.
