Instinct screamed at her to stay far away from him, but paradoxically, she found herself frozen in place. “Do you know?” Damian spoke, his lips curling into a silent, cruel smile as he addressed Kanna, who was trembling in fear. “At the auction... even those incapable of sensing pheromones were roused just by looking at you.” He paused briefly, his mind flickering back to that wretched day.
