Synopsis: Saint Seiya - Episode G
During ancient times, Cronos, the son of the sky god Uranus and the earth goddess Gaia, and his wife Rhea gave birth to six children. Cronos swallowed five of them, but Rhea managed to save Zeus by hiding him. Upon reaching adulthood, Zeus forced his father to release the other gods. Together with his brothers and sisters, they emerged victorious in the battle against the Titans, sending them to Tartarus. Many years later in Greece, the Pope attempted to kill the newborn Athena with a golden dagger, but Gold Saint Saggitarius Aiolos intervened and unmasked the Pope. The horrified Aiolos fled, but the Pope branded him a traitor to the Sanctuary and ordered Capricorn Shura to execute him. Aiolos' younger brother Leo Aiolia suffered from abuse and scorn as a result, with a grudge against the Gold Saints and Sanctuary. To compound matters, the Titans, enemies of Zeus, returned to seek vengeance against him and the Sanctuary, prompting a clash between the Gold Saints and Titans and beginning the story of Aiolia.
