The Sakura family has been engaged in sake brewing since ancient times. One day, the daughter of this family discovers a katana in their warehouse, and when she draws it, the sword begins to glow. The title Sakura Juuyuushi is a clever wordplay on Sanada Sakura Juuyuushi, which tells the tale of a group of ten ninjas who aided the warlord Sanada Yukimura during the Warring States period of Japan.
