Synopsis: Scale Hunters

Anyone can wield unimaginable power – if they crush a fairy scale, that is. Scale Hunters seek out beasts to kill them for their scales, whether that’s to use the power themselves or sell it off to the highest bidder. But when slum boy Mote discovers a fairy, he doesn’t want to crush it. He wants to save it.
