Synopsis: Shitsuren Chocolatier

Souta, a student at a confectionery school, is in a romantic relationship with Saeko, who is one year older than him. He developed a crush on her four years ago when they first met and was instantly smitten. They shared their first kiss just before Christmas last year. Knowing Saeko's love for decadent chocolates, Souta works diligently to enhance his chocolate-making skills. Despite her occasional cigarette scent and her refusal of his Valentine's Day proposal, Souta's love for her remains steadfast, and he has not faced any heartbreak. This love story won the Shoujo category of the 2012 Kodansha Manga Awards and was also nominated for the 4th Manga Taisho Awards in 2011.
