Synopsis: ST&RS

Earth received a message from space on August 10, 2019 at 3:02:40 a.m. UTC instructing them to meet on Mars on July 7, 2035. Scientists worldwide engage in a race to develop advanced technology and send humans to the Red Planet in search of intergalactic life. On the same day, baby Maho Shirafune utters his first word - "Mars", revealing his passion for space exploration. Years later, Maho is determined to attend the prestigious Space Academy, which only accepts one percent of applicants. Joining the school is his ticket to fulfilling his dream of being on the mission to Mars on the assigned date. With his childhood friend Meguru Hoshihara and classmate Wataru Amachi, he prepares for the rigorous two-week admission test. Despite facing fierce competition from top astronaut hopefuls, Maho is determined to excel. The academy's principal, Fifi Collins, believes that Maho is crucial to the July 7 mission. Maho remains resolute in his quest to overcome this life-changing challenge, knowing that his destiny may be predetermined.
