Synopsis: Stand By

Once a beloved star, actor Yujin’s world crumbles overnight after a casting couch scandal. Swept up in false rumors and left with nothing, Yujin eventually realizes acting is his only true calling. During this low point, a chance encounter at a bar leads to a one-night stand. The man is none other than Taehoon, the managing director of the industry giant, SB Entertainment. Exploiting Yujin’s heat cycle, Taehoon offers a tempting deal: a sponsorship and a path back to stardom. Desperate to return to the screen, Yujin eventually takes Taehoon’s hand. But life doesn’t improve as expected, and Taehoon’s obsession and control only tighten under the guise of their partnership.
