Synopsis: Steins;Gate 0

Steins;Gate offers an alternate ending where Okabe, the odd and brilliant scientist, battles to overcome his failure in rescuing Kurisu. Having given up hope, he abandons his vivacious alter ego and strives to forget his past. However, as everything appears to be back to normal, Okabe is yanked back into the past when an acquaintance of Kurisu approaches him. The acquaintance tells Okabe that they have recently begun experimenting with a device that can store human memories and simulate them with their personality and identity. Fascinated, Okabe begins testing it out only to discover that the simulation of Kurisu has triggered painful memories and unexpected tragedies.
