Synopsis: Switch

Kai Etou and Haru Kurabayashi, newly assigned to the crime investigations team in the Narcotics Control Department of the Bureau of Health and Welfare, are an unlikely duo. Kai, a kind-hearted 22-year-old, is hesitant to use force, even when it is necessary, and takes on the nickname "matori" to help individuals struggling with addiction. Meanwhile, Haru, aware of his own abilities, distances himself from Kai due to his perceived weakness and empathy towards all. Their first task as partners requires them to apprehend a notorious drug dealer, leading to a scuffle between Kai and the suspect, eventually revealing a hidden switch that triggers a newfound ruthlessness and uncontainable power in Kai. As they work towards solving various drug-related cases, Kai's mysterious past and erratic behavior become more apparent, drawing them towards the root of his newfound alter ego.
