Synopsis: Tableau Numéro 20

As a student, Maurice came across an illustration in an artist's sketchbook that entranced him - a depiction of a lovely youth with a sorrowful and gentle gaze that conveyed both love and mercy. Present day finds Maurice thriving in his flourishing profession as an art restoration specialist, and he is stunned when a young man appears before him, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the figure in the drawing. The young man even insists that he is the very same person portrayed in the artwork.
