Synopsis: The Ancient Magus' Bride

Chise Hatori has always been burdened by her ability to perceive unearthly entities. Her parents abandoned her at a young age, leaving her to fend for herself and search for a place to belong. Through a desperate act of selling herself into servitude, she becomes a prized possession known as a "Sleigh Beggy" due to her unique and powerful magical abilities. However, her life takes a turn when she encounters Elias Ainsworth, an enigmatic magus who appears to be more beast than man. Rather than treating her as a slave, Elias takes Chise under his wing as his apprentice and prospective wife. Transitioning to the English countryside alongside Elias, Chise is entranced by the wondrous world of supernatural creatures such as fairies and dragons. Nonetheless, she soon discovers that there are also malevolent forces that threaten her well-being. She must confront not only her inner demons but also the perilous dangers of this magical realm in order to survive.
