Synopsis: The Duchess's Contract Marriage

Rubiana, a nun, is determined to seek retribution for her parents' deaths by assassinating the tyrannical king, despite her religious vows. However, before departing from her convent, she must vow to consecrate her firstborn child to God. Realizing that she requires a spouse to fulfill this commitment, she seeks out Louis, the sole surviving descendant of the former ruler, who is also a rival of the present monarch. Louis agrees to wed Rubiana to assist her in conceiving and safeguard himself. However, as they face imminent danger, will they be able to maintain their pledge?
