Synopsis: The iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars: Splash Red

Ai yearned to be a prominent idol like her mother once was, but her multiple attempts at impressing various talent agencies ended in failure. The fact that she couldn't follow in her mother's footsteps weighed heavily on her thoughts. In a moment of despair, Ai wept alone in a public park. However, her strong singing skills caught the attention of Haruka Amami, a 765 Production idol who had judged one of Ai's previous tests. Haruka consoled Ai and introduced her to Ishikawa, the president of 876 Production. Ishikawa offered Ai a place in their company, citing her mother's legacy as a guarantee for success. But Ai refused, claiming that she wanted to achieve success through her own hard work. She was then given an opportunity to prove herself at a rookie idol audition.
