Synopsis: The Irregular Shape of a Star

Shiina Karuho authored a collection of three standalone stories, namely "Ibitsu na Hoshi no Katachi," "Mou Iikai," and "Seishun Rhapsody." "Ibitsu na Hoshi no Katachi" tells the tale of Makoto and Aya, who are the closest of friends despite their contrasting personalities. Makoto is well-versed in romantic relationships, while Aya is pure and has never taken an interest in boys. The friendship is tested when Makoto uncovers a secret Aya has been keeping. In "Mou Iikai," Kanna, a tomboy tired of being regarded as just one of the guys, meets Motonari-kun, and she wonders if he is any different from her previous suitors. The last story, "Seishun Rhapsody," portrays Kusano Hiro, whose proclivity for getting into trouble due to misunderstandings and untrue accusations is legendary. She is the complete opposite of Usami, her classmate, which leads to tension between them.
