Synopsis: The king and the queen

Long ago, the Amaha clan withdrew from the capital, causing a major disruption in the balance of power. But when a bride from the Amaha family was sent to the capital as part of a political agreement, order was restored. Since then, it became a tradition: the King’s wife must be chosen from the Amaha clan—a political hostage. Now, Owayuki, a calm and reserved girl from the Amaha family, is selected to become the wife of the new king, Ichihori Nariya.
