Synopsis: The Morose Mononokean

Hanae Ashiya was stuck in the nurse's office during his first week in high school due to a curious, furry spirit that sucked his energy. The spirit had grown attached to Ashiya and was causing his condition to worsen. Ashiya stumbled upon an exorcism brochure and decided to seek help from Haruitsuki Abeno – an exorcist. Reluctantly, Abeno accepted Ashiya's request and the two met at his Mononokean tea room. However, the service came with a price that Ashiya couldn't afford, leading him to work for the Mononokean in return for his treatment. As they journeyed together, they uncovered hidden secrets and developed a closer bond.
