Synopsis: Time of Eve

In the future, most likely in Japan, robots have been widely utilized while androids have just been introduced. Following the guidelines of the Robot Ethics Committee, treating androids as ordinary household appliances has become the norm. Although their human-like appearance is nearly identical, except for a distinctive ring encircling their heads, some individuals form unnecessary emotional connections with androids. These individuals, known as "android-holics", have become a prevalent social issue. Throughout his upbringing, Rikuo was taught not to regard androids as equals and has always used them as mere tools for convenience. However, one day while examining his family's household android, Sammy's behavior records, Rikuo discovers peculiar data. Together with his companion Masaki, Rikuo begins to track down Sammy's movements, leading them to a puzzling cafe with a unique rule that asserts "Humans and Robots are to be treated the same"...
