Synopsis: Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji

Kaiji Itou has finally cleared his debt, but finds himself penniless and mooching off Mr. Sakazaki in his new home. To make things worse, Sakazaki's daughter, Mikoko, incessantly flirts with Kaiji, causing him extreme discomfort. In an attempt to get rid of Kaiji, Sakazaki offers him a farewell payment of 3 million yen along with a suggestion to cut ties. Kaiji is left to contemplate this offer, but is soon interrupted by Miyoshi and Maeda, two former allies he had rescued in the previous part of the series.
