As Hisame and his childhood friend Itsuki journey halfway through the Tokaido, their adventure takes an intriguing turn. Hisame unravels secrets about his father and the enigmatic demon blade Senju Murasame, which once belonged to him. Meanwhile, an antagonist named Yakumo enters the scene, relentlessly pursuing the coveted sword with whatever it takes.
