Synopsis: Who Made Me a Princess

In The Lovely Princess novel, Athanasia de Alger Obelia is the most pitiable of all the secondary characters. Bereft of parental affection, her mother died during childbirth, and her father, Emperor Claude, never bestowed a molecule of love upon her. Seeking even a meager amount of maternal and paternal love, she ends up being falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to death by her doting father. A modern-day Korean lady, after taking some sleeping pills, awakens as an infant Athanasia. Knowing her troubled future, she resolves to keep herself away from her tyrannical father's clutches to avoid triggering his ire. However, fate conspires against her, and she bumps into Emperor Claude at the tender age of five. Her initial plan in tatters, she seeks to gain her father's love and avoid persecution. Nevertheless, as events take shape, not everybody is working towards Athanasia's goals. Her biological "sister" Jennette Margarita desires a family, high-ranking nobles vie for power, and a shadow from Claude's checkered past threatens to ruin everything he holds dear.
