On the day of the entrance ceremony, Yuuhi Takamiya caught a mysteriously high fever and was bedridden for a week. To camouflage the fact that he was a loner, he creates a bookworm persona that becomes firmly established both for himself and others. Hearing his despair over wanting friends, a clumsy alien called Nano arrives from space to push some dubious goods on him... With Nano's outrageous products, Yuuhi's school life spirals into even greater chaos!
