Synopsis: Angel no Oka

"Angel's Hill" is a work of fantasy that tells the tumultuous tale of Luna, a mermaid princess. Luna is banished to the sea in a seashell for violating the rules of Angel's Island. She is eventually rescued by humans, only to be sold into slavery and subjected to cruel treatment that erases her memories. Enter Eiji, the son of the influential Kusahara family, who rescues Luna and brings her to Japan. Strikingly, Luna bears a remarkable resemblance to Eiji's younger sister, Akemi. Akemi, who possesses a devious streak, impersonates Luna and ultimately finds herself abducted to Angel's Island alongside Eiji. There, they encounter Pyoma, a female shaman who nearly sacrifices Akemi as an offering. Meanwhile, Eiji meets Soleiu, Luna's older sister, and together they delve into the island's many secrets.
