Synopsis: Rockman X5

Following the Repliforce war, Earth experienced a period of calm. Efforts were underway to repair the damaged space colonies, with the exception of the aging giant colony, Eurasia, still stationed at a Lagrangian point. Although elaborate repairs were slated, the colony suddenly fell into the hands of an unidentified entity. This intruder unleashed a virus and sent the colony hurtling towards Earth, leaving only 16 hours until a catastrophic collision. The ensuing trauma would annihilate all life on Earth. The Maverick Hunters needed to act without delay, devising a plan to utilize the ancient particle cannon, Enigma, to obliterate Eurasia before the collision. However, before Enigma could be deployed, it required upgrades. The Maverick Hunters' new commander, Signas, charged Mega Man X and his partner Zero to hunt down four essential components before time expired. Adding to the already daunting task, Sigma had unleashed the Sigma Virus across the globe, and Mavericks were guarding the critical pieces needed to save the planet.
